Upcoming Workshop 3/25: Yoga Therapy for Emotional Balance

Join me Saturday, March 25th from 2-4 pm for a workshop: Yoga Therapy for Emotional Awareness & Balance.

In this 2-hour workshop, we will connect to where and how we experience emotions and how these emotions impact layers of being (body, breath, energy, mind, and spirit). During a meditative body scan, we journey through the body, pausing periodically to illustrate and silently reflect on our awareness as it relates to these emotions.

This is a silent, inward journey and practice, but participants will have an opportunity to share insights (if desired) during a brief closing discussion at the end of the workshop.

We begin with gentle stretches to release tension, followed by a guided meditation. During the meditation, participants can lie in resting pose (savasana) or sit on the floor or in a chair for this class.

Participants will keep their illustrations and reflections to gain further insight after the session.
